What is Baccarat Punto Banco?
Baccarat Punto Banco is the most popular casino card game. Players place their bets on the Player hand, the Banker hand, or a Tie before cards are dealt.
Card Values & Scoring
The goal is to get a hand value closest to 9. Tens, Jacks, Queens, and Kings are worth 0. Aces are worth 1 point. Cards 2-9 are worth their face value. If the total value exceeds 9, only the last digit is counted (e.g., a total of 15 is scored as 5).
Standard Betting Spots
- Player Hand: Pays 1:1.
- Banker Hand: Pays 0.95:1 (a 5% commission is automatically deducted).
- Tie: Pays 8:1 (or 9:1 depending on table rules).
Tips & Strategy
- Avoid betting on Tie as it has a significantly higher house edge.
- Managing your bankroll per round is key to extending your playtime.
